　We participated the event SEMICON Japan 2024 on behalf of our client, Virginia Economic Development Partnership.

　On December 9, a reception was held at the Ambassador’s Residence in honor of the U.S. Semiconductor Ecosystems featuring the five EDOs. On December 13, several state governments including Virginia presented overviews of their regions’ semiconductor opportunities during the “U.S. Semiconductor Landscape, Innovations, and Opportunities” session organized by the US embassy at SEMICON Japan. Individual meetings were arranged and conducted at SEMICON Japan.

　Our FDI consultant, Ms. Michaela Martin explained the investment environment for semiconductor related business in Virginia including the topics such as geographical location, logistics, key players, supply chain, case studies, workforce, incentives and our support to Japanese investors. We hope to have further discussion with the contacts developed in the event regarding their business plan for the US market.
